We want to see it all! From your random good deeds to the litter pick-up parties, we want to celebrate with you and with our community the amazing unseen (until NOW) good work from trail users all over the state.

At WTA, we believe good deeds are contagious. Now more than ever, the world could use examples of random acts of kindness. That’s why we are so excited to see the photos you share for Random Acts of Kindness, this year’s bonus category for our Northwest Exposure Photo Contest.

For inspiration, here are a few great examples of the type photos we’re looking forward to seeing.

Offering a helping hand on trail. Whether it’s crossing a stream or a tricky fallen tree on trail, we could all use an extra hand sometimes.

Thanking a park ranger. Whether it’s giving them a high give or saying thank you– our park rangers deserve recognition now more than ever.

Sharing is caring! Show us the moments you shared something with a fellow hiker. It could be anything from filtered water to a snack or sunscreen.

See it, own it! Document you or a friend cleaning up trash on trail. We can all do our part to keep Washington beautiful.

Sometimes you need a little encouragement on trail. Show us the high fives, hugs or smiles between your favorite hiking buddies.
