Trails for everyone, forever
Calling all trip reporters and hiking writers! If you're interested in helping other hikers get the right info when they hit the trail, join our volunteer Hiking Guide Correspondent team.
Looking for a way to contribute to WTA's mission while on your hiking adventures? Consider joining our Hiking Guide Correspondent team!
Our Hiking Guide Correspondents help write the entries you read when checking out the Hiking Guide. They hit the trail, gather on-the-ground information, do research to find out more and write up all that they find. Many of the 4,000+ hikes in WTA's Hiking Guide are written up by volunteers in our Hiking Guide Correspondent program.
We are always looking for hikers who are known for their ability to share trail and road conditions or writing about trail experiences to take their expertise to the Hiking Guide and become a Hiking Guide Correspondent. If you're a regular trip reporter or a hiker with writing experience, we'd love to have you join our team!
