4/7/26 • Otter Falls
Parking:
The road leading up to the trail is very well maintained. The previously dreaded potholes from previous years are gone!! This road is doable in any vehicle. There was only one other car when we arrived at 5 am. After our hike there was roughly 6 other cars.
Route:
Snoqualmie Lake Trail → Otter Falls Trail
Trail Traffic:
The trail was very quiet, we hiked up in the dark and didn’t see anyone. There were multiple groups on our way back to the car.
Trail Conditions:
The trail has a couple water crossings and one area affected by storm damage. The water crossing was pretty low water, and there’s rocks to step on, poles may be helpful for those who can use extra balance support. The storm damage area has some major erosion, look for little pink streamers, those will help keep you on the safest easiest to navigate path.
Highlights:
Snow capped mountains in the distance. Beautiful waterfall, with a small lake at the bottom. My friend cold plunged , I just dipped my feet in!
