Outdoor Leadership Training Workshops

Washington Trails Association’s Outdoor Leadership Training workshops are intended for teachers and organizations that work with youth and families who have had limited access to outdoor experiences.

Outdoor Leadership Training Workshops focus on:

    BIPOC-Centered Wilderness first aid training

    This course will prioritize registration for Black, Indigenous and Latinx folks.

    Wilderness First Aid is an introductory wilderness medicine course appropriate for people of any experience level who spend time recreating in the outdoors. Taught over a period of three days, the course combines lectures, skill demonstrations, hands-on practices and multiple team-based wilderness medicine scenarios in an outdoor setting.
