Join WTA for Hike the State on May 21 from 6–7 p.m. online! WTA was in the news earlier this week, highlighting our thousands of hours of volunteer trail work across the state. Be aware of road work and repair projects, including on Cascade River Road and in the Labor Mountain Fire burn area, as well as herbicide application in Olympic National Forest.

It’s May 7. Join WTA for Hike the State on May 21 from 6–7 p.m. online! WTA was in the news earlier this week, highlighting our thousands of hours of volunteer trail work across the state. Be aware of road work and repair projects, including on Cascade River Road and in the Labor Mountain Fire burn area, as well as herbicide application in Olympic National Forest. WTA in the news: WTA was in the news earlier this week, where our thousands of hours of volunteer trail work per year across Washington — in particular, our recent work to help repair trails after the storms from last December — were highlighted. Herbicide application: Olympic National Forest has plans to apply herbicide across various areas in the national forest through the end of April 2027. Some of these areas may include or be near trails.
