Fall colors are popping! One night trip, starting at June Lake going clockwise. Got a late start to the trip but it worked out - camped just above the Toutle River.
Water availability pretty good right now. In addition to the Toutle River, there’s a strong stream below Loowit falls along the trail and again about a mile east. Running water at pumice butte just south of plains of Abraham thanks to recent snow (mileage may vary here depending on conditions).
Snow on all the peaks, trail itself was snow free.
