Took the new trail both directions this Sunday morning. Upper parking lot had 4 vehicles at 8am on the slightly foggy wet morning with temps in the 30’s.
Snow appeared on the tread and started falling about half way up the new trail with more and more coverage as you approach the junction with the old trail. Stopped to put micro spikes on to cross the boulder field to the peak. Close to zero viz on the approach to the mailbox, with windy blowing snow.
Very few folks on the new trail, and about a half dozen when we reached the top.
