Taylor River - Otter Falls — Saturday, May. 12, 2018
Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Road leading to the trailhead is fine until right before the bridge over the Taylor River. Few potholes but nothing extreme. You park right before the split toward Dingford and the barriers at the washout. Easy moving along a mostly flat rocky trail. A couple small blowdowns that are easily passed. Two creek crossings along the way are easy to ford if you don't mind getting wet, otherwise take your time going over the rocks. A split for the falls is clearly marked by rocks spelling out "OTTER." Climb up a little through a number of little trails and arrive at the falls. It's definitely worth it to check out for a quick and nearby hike that was not busy late afternoon.
