Trip Report
Mount Spokane State Park - Upper Trail 140 — Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015
Eastern Washington > Spokane Area/Coeur d'Alene
Two members of the Friends of Mount Spokane State Park met and worked on upper trail 140 today. Following the massive windstorm that hit the Spokane area on November 17th, many of the park trails contain multiple downed trees. From the summit to the Upper Mount Kit Carson Loop Road junction, upper 140 is now open. We did not have time to complete from the Loop Road intersection to Saddle Junction.
Other trails cleared as of December 1st include the following: trail 140 from Saddle Junction to Smith Gap, Trail 100, Trail 110 from the Lower Loop Rd to Saddle Junction, the Kit Carson Loop Road, and the Nordic area trails except for Tamarama and Outer Limits.
