Starvation Creek Falls — Monday, May. 11, 2026

Southwest Washington > Columbia River Gorge - OR
Starvation Creek Falls by Jenchilada

The trail to Starvation Creek falls is super short. it's 0.25m roundtrip but you cannot see it from the parking lot. There is a shady picnic area along the creek below the falls so this makes a great lunch spot if you're just passing through too.

Looking for more? Walk back to the trailhead and then keep walking west on the historic highway trail. There are three more great waterfalls within a mile. You will be next to the highway for part of the walk but the trail is wide, paved, and seperated from the actual highway with a wall so you should not have to worry about wandering kiddos as long as they don't do a climb over the wall.

Parking is right off the highway. Oregon Parks pass required, pay station in lot if you don't already have a pass. Flush toilets at parking area.
