We had time to kill before a program up at the Observatory and needed to eat some lunch so we checked out Maryhill State Park. The day use area features lots of picnic tables, big trees for shade, toilets, and a swimming beach. We saw some people swimming along with lots of baby geese. I don't know how I would feel about camping here as the train was loud when it went by, but it was a lovely picnic and play spot.
