Counterclockwise loop, starting at the visitor parking lot on East Dakota Ave, up Canyon No 6, along the Main Ridge Road past Wedding Rock, and back down on the Beer Can, Grotto, and Moose trails.
Road Conditions. The parking lot is right in town, one block from the main street. Portable toilet.
Trail Conditions. Canyon No 6 had a few mid-sized blowdowns, none hard to get past (on foot), and a very steep, eroded section near the top. No issues with Beer Can. Moose Trail had two large blowdowns obstructing the trail, requiring a bit of climbing or detouring.
Highlights. Pleasant conditions, and plenty of wildflowers (including trillium and fairy slipper orchids in shaded areas on the way up, and lots of lupine and balsamroot in the more open areas on the way down).
Crowds. The large parking area was mostly empty all day. Encountered two parties on the way up, two along the top, and two on bikes on the way down.
