Someone put in a lot of work recently, because the trail is great from trailhead until you get to FS Rd 7160 crossing. That next section of Suntop Trail has a few downed trees that can be overcome. Snow patches start after switchback at 3,680 ft., but they’re few and far between and not deep.

Trail to Doe Falls is sketchy after your first glimpse of the falls. At the very end of the trail, snow is post-holed and deep up to the footbridge, which needs a repair.
