We headed East on the path from the Softball complex but didn't get far due to the recent rain and swollen Salmon Creek. The path was flooded about half a mile from where we started.
For a new experience we saw wood ducks (several) flying into a couple trees next to the duck pond. We've seen wood ducks on the pond of course but never in the trees. Kinda cool. Apparently, they have some strong claws to hang onto the branches.
We walked through Klineline park to add to our walk before returning to the car.
