Parking:
Parking lot had a few cars, very quiet and seemed pretty clean and maintained.
Route:
Sky Country Trailhead → Old Man’s Trail → Bypass Trail → Fred’s Railroad Trail → Shy Bear Trail → Long View Peak Trail → Deceiver Trail → Shy Bear Trail → Indian Trail → Quarry Trail → Coal Creek Falls Trail → Cave Hole Trail → Nike Horse Trail
Weather:
Blue skies with beautiful sunlight. Some frost temps ranged from low 30s to mid 40s approximately.
Trail Conditions:
Overall in good shape. Certain trails were frostier than others, but everything was well-maintained and easy to navigate.
Trail Highlights:
HAIR ICE!! mushrooms, 3 waterfalls (Doughty Falls, Far Country Falls & Coal Creek Falls), frost on ferns. vibrant moss!
