Heather Lake — Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026

Light rain at the start of the trailhead and about halfway through the rain started to pick up, trail was in good condition and roads leading up to it were as well. About half a mile from the lake it gets really snowy and it started to rain harder. We stayed near the lake for probably 20-30 minutes and start heading back down, rain was hard for about a mile and then slowed down quite a bit. Lake was mostly frozen over but thinly frozen over.
