Very quick little hike, so easy to get to as well. However, at this time of year the trail is mostly covered with a snow, slush, ice mixture. I definitely would recommend spikes on your shoes. I delayed putting them on because the covering was intermittent, and I had some pretty scary slides. Poles may help too, I didn’t have any.
the very top bit of lookout is rented out as an air bnb situation and there are signs indicating if it’s occupied.
