Arrived at the trailhead at 8:15 am and there were only a few cars. Quick hike up the PCT to the trail to the summit. The trail is more of a bootpath and there were multiple deviations so it was helpful to have the GPS map. It is steep in a few places with some loose footing, so it’s worth knowing that this is a bit of a scramble. The views were crystal clear today and we could see Glacier peak and the top of Mount Rainier. Plenty of ripe blueberries too. There were a few mosquitoes around but nothing like the previous trail reports — maybe we got lucky with a morning breeze.
