Skate Creek Park — Saturday, Sep. 25, 2021

South Cascades > White Pass/Cowlitz River Valley

Skate Creek Park, also known as Packwood State Park, is a Washington State Park maintained by the Friends of Skate Creek Park (https://www.facebook.com/groups/FriendsofSkateCreekPark) who work hard to make the park a great place for all to enjoy.

Its located in Packwood, Washington. This all natural, quiet park has 175 acres of wildlife habitat and the last public access to lower Skate Creek and nearly 4 miles of family friendly trails. Its common to see Elk hanging out in the park.

There is a small parking area at the entrance to the park and a sign-board noting the trails, but we just set off on our own and loved the quiet!
