The Tronsen Loop snowshoe is not too steep, so it’s great for a family snowshoe. There are several more routes nearby for a longer or tougher snowshoe.
WTA Pro Tip: Save a copy of our directions before you leave! App-based driving directions aren't always accurate and data connections may be unreliable as you drive to the trailhead.
Getting There
From I-90, take exit 85 near Cle Elum, then take State Route 970 toward Blewett Pass. At 10 miles, it joins (becomes) Highway 97. Continue on Highway 97 for an additional 14 miles to the Blewett Pass Sno-Park at the start of Forest Road 9716. Continue for about another mile past the sno-park, and a small parking area and Forest Road 7240 will be on the right.
