I started hiking with family members as a youngster with my family in the Washington Cascades. The highpoint of my four decade hiking career is a week long trip with friends on the PCT. We went from Columbia River to Walupt Lake in mid June 2018. I got my trail name by hiking the last leg of the trail in the nude on Nude Hiking Day on the summer solstice. One other in our group of eight also did the day in the buff. She got the trail name Bare Bottoms. After experiencing the freedom of clothes free hiking I've traded by hiking clothes for a Birthday Suit. Weather permitting.
