Olympic Peninsula — East - Hood Canal

Crew Leader: Tom Roalkvam

Leaders: 5, Total: 14

The Mildred Lakes trail is a somewhat rough and primitive trail that leads to a spectacular set of lakes nestled below the Sawtooth Range in the Mt Skokomish Wilderness, Olympic National Forest. The lakes are reported to have great fishing and are one of the main reasons people choose to tackle this trail. We will not be changing the character of this trail but will be doing general maintenance and log out.

This crew will be boated uplake and hike to a backcountry camp 4.5 miles above Prince Creek landing.

The Ingalls Creek trail features all the classic scenery of the Cascades: big pines, boulder fields, granite cliffs, old-growth and occasional views of the mighty Stuart Range. This crew will be completing as much annual maintenance as possible, preparing the trail for horses and summer backpackers. If you want trail work with a little bit of everything, this trip is for you!

Lakes Trail at Snow Lake - Mount St. Helens — Registered

Thu, Jul 23, 2026 — Sun, Jul 26, 2026

South Cascades — Mount St. Helens

Crew Leader: Ryan Ojerio

Leaders: 3, Total: 12

This is a trip for the Mt. Margaret Backcountry enthusiasts who are excited about a longer hike! Your crew will walk along the gorgeous Lakes Trail with views of Mount St. Helens, then keep going into the coveted Mt Margaret Backcountry. Permits for this area are hard to come by, but your crew has permission to camp at Snow Lake in exchange for the copious treadwork you will do nearby.

Mount St Helens Monument staff will shuttle your packs and tools across Coldwater Lake for you, which means that you get to make half of your hike without your tools or full pack!

Work and camp at the gorgeous Noble Knob. Many say it feels like a Rainier hike without all the people!

Copper Pass Logout — Registered

Sat, Sep 26, 2026 — Wed, Sep 30, 2026

North Cascades — Methow/Sawtooth

Crew Leader: Melissa Davis

Leaders: 4, Total: 12

This crew will work on clearing logs from the forgotten Copper Pass trail that connects the Twisp River Valley to HWY 20. This trail is less popular than the neighboring Twisp Pass trail, partially because it hasn't been annually maintained and there are many downed logs. This crew will pick up where the 2024 WTA crew left off and continue cutting logs and brushy to make Copper Pass passable.
