Join WTA for annual maintenance and fun projects on the east bank of Baker Lake. You'll stay in a tree-lined campsite, wake up to views of Mount Baker, the sound of cascading water, and loons calling across the glacier fed lake water.

We will meet at a popular trail in Bellingham and learn about how to spot common trail problems, common solutions, learn about the tools of trail work, and then put that knowledge to use fixing some of the issues we identified!

This BIPOC work party is for folks identifying as Black, Indigenous, People of Color. Trail eyes is a course taken on trail to learn about what we look for when planning maintenance for a trail. We'll hike, learn, take notes, see incredible views and maybe even have enough time to pick mountain blueberries!
