I’ve set myself the arbitrary but enjoyable goal of catching a glimpse of every publicly accessible lake within 50 miles of home. Depending on the map you use, that comes to 700 or so lakes, situated everywhere from sea-level suburbs to alpine wilderness - enough to keep me busy for years to come!
