Snowfields to cross - could be difficult
Overnight camped on railroad grade. The first campsite has some amazing views and the moonrise and sunrise shine right into your tent from the east. Snow/mud from 4600ft up but typically 2" max on the trail itself. Traction not needed in late afternoon, but did ice up a bit in the morning. I was glad to have a treking pole for the descent with the ice.
