No bridge over the first stream crossing, a handy log can be found a couple of hundred feet downstream. Also easy enough to wade across, water at most knee-high.
Trail is in great shape all the way up to the pass. Water available for about the first half of the trail, none past the crossing of the avalanche fan.
No snow, no bugs (well, hardly any), zillions of blueberries in the high meadows, all the flowers gone, except some gentians at the pass.
Beautiful views of the Fisher Basin and Mt Logan, and hardly any people.
