The ""green"" of Green Mt is now gold. The trail is in good shape. Firm, icy tread begins just before the descent down to the Lake/pond below Green Mt. As you reach the point above the lake, almost continuous snow occurs. Following tracks in the snow, you still lose the trail as it climbs the basin in snow. The snow is very firm in places making the ascent somewhat interesting. Ice Axes are advised. It was sunny but quite cold and windy at the summit.
