Read previous trips for
trail descriptions (very good). Trail is very wet the first 1.5 miles with 2-6 inches of water sitting in around the rocks and roots. Met 10 groups heading out since I did not start until 2:30 pm. (long drive from Vancouer B.C.). Shorts and Tshirt day. Trail is bare of snow until Tin Can Gap 2.5 hours later. At the Gap I lost the trail since 10 feet above the gap there is 12 inches of snow. Tried to follow a couple of trails across the snow, but to dangerous with long drop offs. Look at the lookout, took some pictures of the fog in the valley. Notice new logging roads to the peaks and 2 sides, which I quess means loging soon. Too bad. Got back to my car at 7:30 very dark but refreshing. Gravel road is graded and very smooth (28 miles). Watch for hunters !
