We started from the Western end, then did the low route out, then the high route back (which meant we did the steeper climb -oops). Trail was in great shape. The few water crossings were low enough you could hop over the streams, and while there was a bit of snow off the trail, there wasn’t anything on it. The snowpack is looking bleak, though.
Road is in good shape except for a short period right after you turn off the paved road. When we arrived at 10:40 on a Saturday, we were the only ones there, but about 8-10 cars had joined by the time we be finished.
