The trail was so beautiful even in the winter. It was a bit muddy in some places but they are working on that now. The wonderful people,as we met a couple, were even out in the rain today carrying in boards to help with mud. The forest was so beautiful, I took my 13 year old out to get off the couch and he loved seeing the big trees. The ancient cedar was a big hit with him and we loved reading the occasional signs that explained what type of trees, plants and what type of land was in that area.
