The parking lot was ice, but no issues. The trail itself had softer snow due to the increasing temps but we still wore microspikes. Heads-up to anyone going soon… someone placed clothes pins with bright pink marking tape from the main loop trail up to the base of the falls. Having not seen the falls frozen before we ventured up. Once there we there we found bowling ball size debris. We heard cracks and bangs and some ice began to fall. We got down to the main trail as soon as we could. We only saw one other couple as we were finishing around 10:15.
