Breeze Creek Trail

 This ¾ mile trail in a riparian forest follows the eponymous Breeze Creek, named after La Center founder John Breeze.  Completed in 2011 by the City of LaCenter, it is an ADA trail of compacted gravel 6 feet wide that wends north alongside and overlooking the creek.  Ideal for perambulators and casual walkers.   The elevation gain is 90 feet, with the trail ending in a neighborhood. 

Breeze Creek Trail connects the Heritage Park Trail System that follows the East Fork of the Lewis River.  Both trailheads are in downtown La Center. 

The trailhead is on the corner of East 4th Street and Stonecreek Drive. 

Parking: Weekday park parallel 1 block west of the trailhead on the street.  On weekends, park 1 block east at the elementary school across 4th Street. 

Elevation: 90 feet

Northwest LaCenter Road 2 miles east of I-5

East 4th Street 3 blocks
