Beautiful fall day for a Halloween Hike with friends. The trail head is just before the entrance fee pay station. The trail is a good workout because it's steep uphill the entire way up. We started in second growth forest with little understory for around 3 miles. Keep your eye out for halfway rock which is covered with moss. We saw 2 deer on our way back to our cars.
