The trail was very well maintained and well marked even in the fog. We started at 630 am and got back at 4 pm, hiked fairly slow with lots of breaks.
The weather called for rain and then clear at the top but we had a nice mist in the morning not really rain. You didn’t need rain gear but it’s always good to have. You definitely don’t need micro spikes yet. There was a couple small patches of snow at the top ridge, very easy to cross with hiking boots and poles.
Don’t forget sunscreen, it was very sunny for most of the hike.
I’d recommend bringing poles and gloves as it gets cold in some spots.
Unfortunately we saw someone with a dog at the top of the mountain that was unleashed and barking at a stranger :/

Yikes--someone had a dog at the summit? I can't imagine taking a dog up there or making it climb up there.

Yeah and the dog was off leash barking aggressively at a passing hiker on the ridge line!! It was scary. I had to do a double take when I heard the bark.
