Fall colors were popping on our hike up to Snow and Gem Lakes.
Trail work that has been done in recent years has made a really well graded, easy to hike pathway even in the rain.
We left early and didn't see many folks on the way up, but the parking lot was full on the way down. The trail is mostly clean (some dog poop bags and clothes) and the restroom at the parking lot was clean but missing toilet paper.
A great day to try out a well loved hike.
