We took a leisurely hike up the trail today, and only saw one other group on the way up. Definitely a little exposed with a lot of tree mortality from a fire (not sure when it was) but it was a great day for a hike. We opted to take the trail all the way to the end to the 5130 road. The stretch from the top of the waterfalls to the road had several downed trees across the trail. That said, I doubt most folks would choose to go past the waterfalls, so maybe it’s not a huge issue!
