A few extra notes from the earlier post 2 weeks ago. Water source at camp Mystery is now flowing well. I am sure thanks to the rain the past week. Once you hit Camp Mystery the ground is frozen where it has not gotten sun so a heads up for backpackers, expect cold temps at night. Buckhorn has a tiny bit of snow on top and so does the ridge right at the top of Marmot Pass. Was able to walk right up to the snow. Bring binoculars so you can spy the hood canal bride. Trail and road are still in great shape and the vault toilet at the TH is clean and had lots of TP.

Slight clarification. When I said ridge to the right for snow I was thinking of myself standing facing towards the Hood Canal side or the Charlia Lake side.
