We arrived to the Young Hill trailhead (as marked on Google Maps) at about 9:15AM. Today was a Wednesday. There was only one other car parked on the side of the road. We decided to use the road trailhead as we had visited English Camp on a past trip, and we were looking for more of a quick hike to start the day. The cemetery is only a few minutes past the trailhead. It is a very solemn place. It was nice to see that people come by and place Union Jacks by the grave markers in honor of those buried there. After the cemetery, the trail climbs gradually. It doesn't take too long to reach the top of the hill. The first viewpoint is very nice, but the summit is only a minute or so past it, and its view is even better. Make sure to look to the south and try to spot the Alpacas at Krystal Acres. We eventually made it back to the road at around 10:15AM, with the total hike lasting 1.6mi.
