North Fork Skokomish River — Friday, Sep. 1, 2023

We hiked to Spike Camp and just a little bit beyond. There was a tough spot in the beginning but over all the trail followed a slow, gentle grade up. There is a bathroom available at Spike Camp -- but bring your own toilet paper. There were quite a few loose rocks on the surface of the trail which were a tripping hazard. On our return we took the Staircase Rapids trail which loops back to the same trailhead.
