Arrived at 8 am with only 4 cars in the lot! Perfect timing to take a quiet solitude walk with the pup around the lake. Finally found the sweet spot to visit Deep Lake in the summer.
As with everywhere else, smoke was thick.
There was a group with about 4 newfoundlands being trained in water rescue at the beach. That was cool to watch.
