Checked off a hike that my adult daughter has been wanting to go on a long time! Did not disappoint!! Plenty of parking! The hike up is hard but like most others we just took short breaks. Lots of rocks to walk over and lots of stairs to go up!! Good workout!! When we got to the top a lot of the viewing places were taken so we just kept walking and found a place just next to the trail. The water was beautiful! You could hear the bugs!! We had 45% deet on but when we got up there we sprayed on some 100% deet!! We were not touched by those pesty bugs!! It was a great day!! Taco truck in parking lot!! We didn't buy anything but what a great idea!! Bathrooms were well supplied but the smell was the smell of hundreds of hikers using it!! I'm always grateful for restrooms at trailheads!!
