We hiked up as far as the viewpoint just before sunset while camping at the state park (~2 miles roundtrip). A beautiful hike up, and we only saw a few other people. The trail itself is wide and well maintained. The views over the water and out to the San Juans are gorgeous—pictures don’t do it justice!
