Heybrook Ridge — Thursday, Jul. 6, 2023

Arrived with my brother a little after 7 pm for a sunset hike, and we were one of three cars in the lot. Once we got going on the trail, the other parties came down and we had the whole thing to ourselves! Really well-maintained trail with good signage to keep you on track and to let you know mileage along the way. The trail climbs the entire time, but the switchbacks are gentle - just take it slow and you'll be fine! We made to the top shy of an hour.

There were a few mosquitoes once we got to the ridge/power lines, but there weren't too bad. Beautiful views even with a little smoke!
