A nice moderate hike for my 3 at 5.4 miles rountrip and 1300 ft elevation gain. Gorgeous day and very pretty hike mostly along the river. Lots of shade. The last little grind from the Valley View lookout up to the Upper Falls was the most challenging (and in my opinion, you saw the best parts already so you can skip it). It took us about 3 1/2 hours to complete. My kids' ages: 8, 11, 13. Lots of parking available on arrival at 9:15 am and when we left around 12:50 pm on a Friday.
