Ancient Lakes — Sunday, Jun. 18, 2023

Did this hike for the first time over Memorial Day Weekend and was amazed at the beauty so when my wife wanted us to drive over to Spokane on Father's Day, the trade off was stopping and hiking it on the drive over.  While I showed my family some photos from my previous hike, they didn't do it justice.  We hit the trail before noon and after about 15 minutes into the hike my family could see that the topography was special.  We  took many photos along the hike and made it to the lookout over the wide valley before turning around and continuing our dive over to Spokane for a Father's Day dinner with the inlaws.  I highly recommend the hike and plan on coming back and exploring a lot more of the trail.
