Great trip up to Peek-a-Boo Lake today! The road is okay, but I would advise against taking your brand new Tesla up. As noted in the WTA description, your vehicle will be scratched and will likely bottom out a few times. I was wishing for higher clearance until I got to the tree across the road (see car photo). My ancient Civic did great. I was grateful for front wheel drive and a manual transmission. Didn’t see another car or person all day. The trail is mostly clear. Roots are slippery (duh) and there is still some squishy snow in places. It was a breeze to traverse, but my dog broke through at one of the meadow tarns and got a bit wetter than he’d intended. A few bugs, but nothing too bad. Sun never came out, but we enjoyed the limited views nonetheless. Lovely wildflowers and blissful solitude!
