The Sol Duc Falls trail was snow free and relatively dry during my hike. I was lucky enough to encounter a trail work party repairing steps near the trailhead - Thank you!!!
I was able to complete the hike even though I’m disabled and my energy level was a bit low. The trail did not disappoint - lots of moss and plants just about to bloom. Trillium and skunk cabbage were already in bloom. If you have mobility issues, I would recommend a walking stick or hiking poles for more stability. Parts of the trail have larger rocks in the path and there are lots of tree roots. Overall a fun trail that I will definitely hike again! Soaking at the hot springs was also a great way to end the day 😊
