Seminary Hill Natural Area — Friday, Mar. 24, 2023

I joined a couple of WTA staff, volunteers and community partners in the beginning stages of creating an ADA trail for this natural area. We did a lot of brainstorming and collaborating with each other on where the trail should begin, end and which section worked best at meeting the ADA requirements. I learned how to use a clinometer to measure the slope of different sections of the area and then once we found spots that worked, we placed flagging down for a very rough first draft of the future trail. I'm interested to see what their final decision will look like.
