I decided to check out Wiley Slough before it’s closed for construction.
I hope they leave some of the trees along the dike. So many little birds nest in the holes, feed and sing in the branches. I wonder how many eagle babies will hatch in the big nest. Will have to wait until November.
Low tide and lots of birds today. Lovely.

We have reservations at Maryhill SP for 8 nights starting on the 27th! We are looking forward to the flowers! I have read they are a month to 6 weeks behind last year!
