Damon Point — Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023

We tried to plan our outing to Damon point to avoid high tide… but we had never been here in the winter time. Even a few hours shy of high tide, much of the point was underwater. Nonetheless we still enjoyed our time here, finding agates, spotting deer, dodging waves, and watching surfers. Husband and kids hunted for geocaches- there are a lot! We crisscrossed the peninsula and walked a bit on the old road, which is very much intact. On the way back we got pretty wet, up to shins or knees depending on height. Totally worth it though! If possible, come at low tide for the fullest access.
